Roller Derby is a full contact sport on roller skates where two teams battle it out on an oval track.
The goal of the game is to have your jammer pass by as many players from the opposite team as possible.

There are two teams, each consisting of 5 players, on a flat track at once.
A bout (game) consists of 60 minutes of play split into two 30-minute periods.
Each period is composed of an unlimited number of jams, which can last up to 2 minutes, during which teams attempt to score points.
Each team is made up of one pivot/blocker (sets the pace), three blockers (block), and one jammer (score points).
Pivots and blockers from both teams start the game by forming a single pack. In a pack, all players face counterclockwise.
Points can only be scored by the jammers, who also moving counter-clockwise, attempt to pass the pack and lap around as many times as possible.
After passing the pack the first time, jammers earn one point each time they pass an opposing blocker/pivot.
